Lodge Leadership

Preparing a lodge for the next fiscal year is so important, listed below are all the potential positions that can be filled by your lodge’s membership.

As you can see the importance of getting members involved is critical and it strengthens a lodge’s leadership. A core responsibility of an incoming president is to recruit members to chair committees and participate in helping to run a lodge.

As your nominating committees are working hard to bring together a strong lodge board that is excited about leading your lodge into the new fiscal year (May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025) remember that we are a member/volunteer organization with full time working members, so be kind and mentor.

A forgotten benefit in our Moose organization is that you are provided an opportunity to learn leadership skills, and this element of membership as been lost and should be reinvigorated. An individual in their personal life may never have an opportunity to be part of a leadership position where you make decisions for an organization and our Moose organization gives EVERY member that opportunity!

Bringing a Lodge back to its founding principles reminds us all that this concept is about working together and it takes the right mindset, mentorship, and leadership to make that happen.
